Curve reflector
Effect: Due to the design of the curved reflector, it creates an even curved catchlight, adding sparkle to the subject’s eyes.
Colour: It includes 3 different colours, silver to accentuate details and give a bright reflection, white to produce a soft more natural light and black to absorb light, preventing uncontrolled reflections on your subject. These are part of a slide on 2-sided cover material with a detachable diffuser for the white.
Shape: The curved reflector’s shape is based on the curvature of the human eye and produces flattering curved catchlights
S85T Softbox
Compact Size, Unlimited Possibilities: Uniquely shallow design (almost half the depth of standard softboxes of this type), perfect for use in home studios, cramped locations where every centimetre of extra space is precious.
Customise Your Light: Featuring an internal and external diffuser, you can use both diffusers for soft even lighting or one diffuser for soft lighting with added contrast and specularity. You can also add a honeycomb grid (available separately) for even more control over the spread of light.
Lightweight Beauty Dish: With the addition of the optional deflector plate (available separately) and its silver interior, the Godox S85T umbrella softbox can also be used as a lightweight collapsible beauty dish.

Size: The background will have a 1.5m width with a maximum length of 2m, this will provide enough space to cover your subject and can be collapsed down to just 1/3rd of its size.
Colour: It comes in 2-sided black and white, due to the matte nature of this fabric, it is virtually reflection-free.

Tips and tricks
- Place the AD200Pro II pocket flash light with the softbox, roughly positioning your light source directly centred and above your subject’s face, aimed down approximately 45 degrees. For best results, ensure that the centre of the softbox pointed to your subject’s face.
- For the traditional clamshell lighting set up, position the curved reflector under your subject’s chin to produce flattering wrap-around fill light. It will also produce a unique curved catchlight in the eyes of your subject.
- Place the background meter or two away from your subject if possible to prevent any shadows cast by the main light falling onto the background.
- For headshots, we recommend using a lens with a focal length of between 70mm and 135mm on a full-frame camera (or between 50mm and 100mm on a cropped sensor camera) for the most flattering results.
