The Olympus Mju family of cameras were made with a range of lenses.  The number 100 for this model refers to the 100mm maximum focal length of the zoom lens.  The lens begins at 28mm, which is a wide angle.  Such a great pocket-sized camera with a dateback!  One of a family of best-selling point-and-shoots that dominated the 1990s into the early aughts.  This model was launched in 2002.
